All Things Mandolin

We will focus on blues, bluegrass, swing, Latin, and more, featuring typical aspects of each style. Many ‘trade secrets’ will be revealed, including a variety of right-hand techniques, left-hand positions, strumming patterns, several chord forms organized into systems, two types of tremolo, several cross-picking styles, a key to mapping out the fretboard, tools for developing and maintaining speed, a step-by-step system for practicing improvisation, and some pointers for practicing after the camp.
