Armenian Songs for Voice

Armenian vocal repertoire spans many colors and has a rich history. We will be journeying through a diversity of Armenian singing styles (folk, troubadour, sacred and lullabies), giving singers nuances and vocal approaches to each style. Each day we will cover a set of new songs, with the possibility of visiting previously-learned ones as well. Singers of all levels are welcome. Armenian lyrics, along with transliteration and translation will be provided. Please note that this class is taught through ear training/active listening.
